What is behind antagonizing Islam
The mass media has recently reported that a member of Dutch parliament demanded a ban on the circulation of the Holy Quran in Holland and in Europe. Before that the media also reported statements by the personal Secretary of the Pope of the Vatican. Many European newspapers intentionally tried to disgrace and defame Islam and its Prophet (SAW), and in turn, all his followers.
All that is not something new or unexpected for millions had enviously stood in the way of this vast spreading religion. All those schemes targeting Islam for hundreds of years had failed and Islam was able to expand East and West and to prevail all over the globe as strong as ever before.
It seems that many are unable to learn from history’s lessons. They did not realize very important fact tied with Islam and that is no one was able in the past or can in the present time to stand in the face of this universal faith. Their ignorance derives from the lack of knowledge about the peculiarity of this religion.
It also derives from a serious mistake of not understanding the big difference between the spread out and the invasion.
It seems inevitable to remind those who hate Islam of several facts that cannot be ignored. It is also as important to give them advice in order not to insist on their arrogance towards a religion that regards dialogue and debate in good faith as one of its basic teachings since Islam discards all forms of oppression and compulsion to embrace any faith without conviction.
By following up the language of western media in general and the European in particular, we can clearly notice the vast culture of hatred and seclusion waged against a religion whose followers, presently, are the weakest, the poorest and the most backward peoples of the world. They are the most if not the only peoples that were exposed to organized plundering of their wealth, history, culture and heritage.
Despite all that, some European priests, clergymen and politicians insist on placing those people between the hammer of hatred and the anvil of seclusion.
The astonishing thing is that this antagonism of Islam does not come from pagan people or from creeds that contradict Islam, rather this hostile attitude comes from the followers of a divine faith that share with Islam common values such as: justice, peace, tolerance and discard all evil deeds. The strange thing is that this hostile phenomenon comes from the followers of a faith that has distinctive place and respect by Islam, since this constitutes a basic pillar for Muslims where that who does not believe in Issa (Jesus) is not a Muslim and that who does not believe in the genuine Bible of Christianity is not a Muslim either. Above all Islam has high respect for the Virgin Mary. According to Islam, there is no doubt in the purity of Mary. But, despite all that, great respect on the part of Islam and Muslims towards Christianity, there are some Christians who are waging a fierce and dirty war against Islam, including church priests who regard Islam as their first enemy and that it must be confronted by all means.
If the Holy Quran did not highly respect the Virgin Mary and her undoubted purity, we may find an excuse for a priest, parliament member or a politician, here and there, who publicly antagonize the noble faith of Islam.
Those priests, clergymen and politicians cannot speak up against the doubts expressed in some of the books that Christians described as holy books and are in circulations all over Europe. These books disgrace (Jesus) (PBUH) and his mother Miriam (Mary).
Those priests and clergymen of the Christian church have no courage even to demand the omission of such disgraceful description that violate the rules of decency. They do not have the guts to eliminate that clear disgrace to the person of Issa (Jesus) his mother and disciples.
We wonder: Is it fear from certain force that the church and its followers cannot stand in the way of such evil force?
It seems that some of those calling themselves clergymen and bishops are in fact not the followers of the real Christianity, rather they act as if they are belonging to another creed aiming at falsifying the noble principles that Jesus (PBUH) preached, and to replace the genuine message of Jesus to his people with evil and oppressive conceptions.
It seems very clear that some of those who hate Jesus (PBUH) were able to penetrate deep inside the Christian faith and to distance it away from its original straight path as a divine religion which clearly mentioned and greatly honored and respected by the Holy Book of Islam, the Glorious Quran, the true words of God as revealed to the Prophet (SAW) the Last of the Prophets and Apostles.
It seems that the enmity towards the universal religion of Islam and the Holy Quran aims at eliminating all texts that were stated in Holy Quran about Issa (Jesus) Mary and the Bible, without any distortion or falsification.
If that is not the case, then the important question remains: what is the secret behind this growing animosity towards the Holy Quran?!
